This is my niece and nephew. I love them!

Have you met her? Of course you have; Everyone knows Grannybird. She’s like the universal Grandma. To her, there isn’t a stranger in the world.
I had the privilege of photographing her over the holidays. She’s an amazing person with an amazing memory; she can recite practically any poem, I swear! She can captivate any child with her animated storytelling and her cute little gestures. Did I mention she not actually MY grandma? She’s my husband’s, but she feels like my own. There isn’t anyone that hasn’t met her that doesn’t completely love her! Good thing she’s gonna live in be 900.![]()

Can it really be that my little niece is turning 8 and getting baptized already? Over Christmas break, I had the privilege of photographing her in her white dress. I can’t believe she’s this old! Love you Gracie Sue, you’re so beautiful.

This is my husband’s brother’s family–if you were confused. Probably not though.
Over Thanksgiving I thought it would be cool to do a new family shoot of them, since it had been 2 years since their last one. I’ve seen many shoots out at Nelson’s Landing, Nevada, but I wanted to see this place for myself. It was really cool, interesting and totally worth the drive. It’s about 45 mins out side of Las Vegas, and in the middle of nowhere. It’s hard to describe what it is exactly, except to say that it’s a giant collection of old, collectibles. To me, it’s a giant photo studio! I love the way these turned out. I’m sure I’ll be headed out there again sometime.
