So, A friend here in CA is about to have her first boy! I can’t even imagine, and I’m sure they couldn’t either since they have 2 girls, just like me. She might be the most gorgeous pregnant lady ever. She’s just got the adorable little basketball in front. (Hate you.)

They took a “last hoo-rah” to the beach before their youngest son leaves on his 2-year mission! I had the privilege of taking their pictures! And not to mention at my favorite California beach, no less. I just have to say that the picture of them getting washed away in a wave is my favorite! The faces are so genuine and hilarious that it made me laugh out loud while I was going through them!

My OTHER sister-in-law (Yes, I know, I have a lot of them) has a shop on Etsy called “Pretty Swell“. She makes fabric flower garlands, pins, and her newest product are these super cute head wreaths. She asked me to do a shoot so that she could put them up on her shop. I love how these turned out! The two little girls in the photos are cousins, and are also our daughters.
And Katie herself is modeling the adult version. Make sure you go and check out her shop! You wont regret it,….but maybe your bank account will.

…Are perfect for photo shoots! We had a limited amount of time left in Canada and one of the days I had set up for a shoot was rainy. Its completely not uncommon for it to randomly rain up there, but this particular day was non-stop rain! I think it worked for our benefit. Brittney does some photography too, and always being behind the camera allows little time to actually be in a picture, unless you set up the shoot yourself on a tripod, and pose using the timer…hence the photos of moi a few posts below. Having someone else take the pictures saves yourself the embarrassment of someone walking by as you’re smiling into a camera with no one behind it, and waiting, waiting, waiting for that click! (Yes, that’s what happened to me.) Anyway, Brittney’s turned out marvelous despite the rain!
